Highlights from the 2025 Personnel and Recruiting Symposium

The 2025 Personnel and Recruiting Symposium brought together over 1,000 professionals from across college football—a record turnout that shows how much this space is growing. Held in Nashville, the three-day event gave us a chance to listen, learn, and show how we’re supporting the work of recruiting teams in real, tangible ways.

What We Shared with College Programs

Scorability is built for the challenges recruiting and personnel teams face every day. From emerging trends to common pain points, here’s what we talked through with recruiting teams—and our solutions that address them head on:

• We help programs look beyond the measurables. From countless conversations and Symposium sessions like “Identifying Undervalued Players” and “Scouting the Person”, it was clear that college teams want to know who an athlete is—not just how fast they are. Scorability’s mentality assessment, coach evaluations, and even parent interviews give coaches that fuller athlete picture.
• We help programs invest in the right athletes. With NIL and faster timelines, coaches have less time and higher stakes. Scorability narrows thousands of athletes down to a focused list using verified data, custom filters, and athlete preferences so coaches spend effort where it counts and avoid costly “misses”.
• We make camp data more actionable. Recruiting teams shared the struggle with getting to see every athlete in person—especially when recruiting nationally. Scorability reinforces verified measurables with video from camps across the country, helping coaches expand their visibility without stretching their travel budgets.
• We’re real people solving real problems. Meeting our Customer Success team in person was a highlight for many of our customers. It was a reminder that when they reach out, they’re talking to someone who gets it and is ready to help. No bots, no AI, no waiting. Just our team, showing up when it matters.

Connection Outside the Conference Hall

While the core of the Symposium is education and networking, it’s also a chance to spend downtime with the people you work alongside all year. To celebrate the camaraderie of the Symposium, we hosted a social with over 35 programs at TopGolf as a way to unwind, share some laughs, and keep the conversations going off the clock.

Coaches from different schools shared golf bays, crushed golf balls, exchanged good-hearted competitive banter, and had a chance to connect in a more relaxed setting. One coach from Miami summed it up best: “Great event, great energy, great people.”
